Captured on CCTV: Speeding Truck Overturns On Mumbai-Pune Expressway Near Khandala
A speeding truck overturned on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway near Khandala on August 17, the incident was captured on CCTV. The footage shows the truck flipping over to its side on the Khandala stretch, near the Amrutanjan Bridge at Borghat. The accident occurred around 2 pm, and although the driver sustained minor injuries, no serious harm was reported.
Traffic on the expressway was briefly halted following the incident. Overloading and overspeeding remains a frequent issue on this route.

On May 20, another tragic accident occurred on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway when a truck overturned and landed on a car heading towards Pune. The incident took place at Khandala’s Battery Hill. Reports indicate that two people lost their lives, and six others sustained injuries in the accident.
