Pune Metro creates new ridership record on Sunday
Pune Metro has been a great success with the citizens of Pune and on this Sunday, May 26 the service set a new ridership record.
A total of 95,669 commuters traveled by Pune Metro on Sunday, May 26, 2024.
Pune Metro currently operates two lines, namely the Purple Line from PCMC to Swargate (13 stations) and the Aqua Line from Vanaz to Ramwadi (16 stations) with interchange between the two lines at Civil Court Station.
A third line from Hinjawadi to Civil Court is under construction and is expected to be operational in the first half of next year, 2025.
