Pune: Number of registered vehicles grew by 16% in PCMC this year, 9% are electric vehicles
The total number of registered vehicles in the Pimpri Chinchwad municipal area increased by approximately 16 percent compared to the previous year, with two-wheelers making up the highest number.
Among the total registered vehicles, 9 percent are electric vehicles, which marks an increase from last year. The use of CNG and electric vehicles has increased in Pimpri Chinchwad over the last three years, reflecting a growing emphasis among citizens on using eco-friendly vehicles.
