Pune: PMC announces water supply disruptions on May 30 and 31, check details

Pune, May 28, 2024: Due to routine maintenance works, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced that there will be no water supply in many areas on May 30 and resumption of water supply at low pressure on May 31.

On Thursday (30/05/2024), urgent electrical/pumping, maintenance and essential repair work at Vadgaon treatment plant and Rajiv Gandhi pumping & culvert work at Shivshankar Chowk, Dhankawadi will be carried out.

It is planned to shift the 796 mm diameter pipeline, which is obstructing the said work. Therefore, since the pumping system of the above places have to be closed, the water supply for areas, under the jurisdiction of the above places, will be shut on 30th May.

Vadgaon Treatment Plant – Hingane, Anandnagar, Vadgaon, Dhairi, Ambegaon Pathar, Dattanagar, Dhankawadi, Katraj, Bharti Vidyapeeth, Kondhwa Budruk, Ambegaon Khurd, Ambegaon Budruk, Yewalewadi, Sahakarnagar – 2, Ambedkarnagar, Tilaknagar Premises, Date Bus Stop Premises, etc.

Rajiv Gandhi Pumping – Sacchai Mata Tank, Santosh Nagar, Dattanagar, Ambegaon Budruk, Ambegaon Khurd, Sunda Mata Nagar, Wonder City, Morebaug, Shrihari Tank, Balaji Nagar, Pawar Hospital Complex, Kedareshwar Tank, Sukhsagar Nagar, Rajesh Society, Utkarsh Society, Sundarban Society, Shelar Mala, Katraj Gaothan, Bharat Nagar, Dattanagar, Varkhade Nagar in Old Ward 38 as well as entire Old Ward 41 and Yewalewadi area etc.
