Expanding Out-of-Home Charging Network

Tata Power EZ Charge is not just confined to home chargers. It has strategically positioned public EV charging points at diverse locations such as offices, RWAs, hotels, hospitals, car dealerships, malls, and highways to construct a reliable and expansive out-of-home charging network nationwide.

Key Developments and Collaborations

  • Increased E-bus Charging Points: In the September 2023 quarter, Tata Power EZ Charge deployed 180 e-bus charging points, elevating the total to 464.
  • Collaboration with Zoomcar: In August 2023, Tata Power partnered with Zoomcar to enhance the accessibility of EV charging. This integration caters to both existing and potential EV owners, as well as Zoomcar’s customer base.

The Importance of Home Charging

At the India EV Conclave in November, Goyal highlighted the critical role of home charging in EV adoption.
