Pune: Traffic changes near Swargate on Aug 1 for birth anniversary celebrations of Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe
On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe on August 01, a large number of people are expected to gather to pay respects to the statue of Annabhau Sathe at Sarasbuag. In order to ensure smooth flow of traffic on Balaji Vishwanath Road between Jedhe chowk and Sarasbuag on this occaision, Pune traffic police have announced the following traffic changes for tomorrow, August 01.
Traffic Changes in Sarasbaug on August 01
1. No entry for vehicles proceeding from Jedhe chowk to Sarasbaug
Alternative Route – From Jedhe Chowk, motorists must continue straight to Satara Road through Lakshminarayan Chowk, Mitramandal Chowk, and then proceed to Sinhagad Road via Savarkar Chowk.
2. No entry for vehicles over Jedhe chowk Y junction flyover towards Sarasbaug.
Alternative Route – To reach Sarasbagh, motorists must take a left turn from Lakshminarayan Chowk.
3. No entry for vehicles on the grade separator from Vega center at Swargate to Sarasbagh.
Alternative Route – Motorists are advised to reach their destination via Ghorpade Peth Udyan, Rashtrabhushan Chowk, and Hirabagh Chowk.
4. Vehicles will be allowed a two-way entry as required on the one-way road from Puram Chowk to Jedhe Chowk on Tilak Road.
5. The traffic from Dandekar bridge to Sarasbaug chowk may be diverted from Shastri road to Tilak Chowk road as per requirement.
6. Vehicles going from Nilayam bridge to Savarkar chowk may be diverted from Nilayam bridge towards Parvati road, depending upon requirement.
These traffic changes are announced by Pune traffic police during the birth anniversary celebrations of Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe on August 01 to ensure a safe and smooth traffic flow in the Swargate area.
