  • 50% Discount on Online Bookings: Women tourists can avail a 50% discount on their stay at MTDC resorts for a total of 30 days throughout the year. This offer is valid from the 1st to 8th March, in celebration of International Women’s Day, and for an additional 22 days spread across the year.
  • Exclusive Dates for Discounts: The 50% discount extends to bookings made for the periods of 1st to 6th June, 1st to 5th August, and 1st to 5th October 2024, making it easier for women to plan their vacations around these dates.
  • Women-Run Facilities: In a pioneering move, MTDC has designated the Aurangabad Resort as the first all-women-run tourist accommodation in the state. Similarly, Arka Restaurant at Kharghar Residency will operate as an all-women-run establishment, setting a precedent for female leadership in the tourism sector.
  • Support for Women Self-Help Groups: MTDC properties will prioritize providing space for stalls managed by women self-help groups, empowering them to showcase and sell their products.
  • Accessibility and Comfort: Efforts are being made to allocate rooms near lifts for women, especially beneficial for those who are disabled or elderly. Special arrangements are also in place for female tourists with children up to 5 years, including nursery facilities and organized trips that cater to their needs.
  • Inclusive Activities: The policy encompasses organizing special trips for disabled women, senior women, and a variety of entertainment and adventure tours tailored to female travelers.
