Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad Police have urged citizens to stay at home and avoid going out unless absolutely necessary due to multiple traffic jams in the city.

Traffic Alert Due to Heavy Rains

  1. Bhumkar Chowk – Traffic is moving slowly due to significant water accumulation under the bridge. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution as the water levels are high and visibility is low.
  2. Susgaon – Traffic has been completely closed due to water flowing from the bridge near the petrol pump. The heavy rains have caused the water levels to rise rapidly, making it unsafe for vehicles to pass. Alternative routes should be considered to avoid this area.
  3. In front of Sus Hospital – The stream water has overflowed the bridge, leading to a complete closure of the road. Authorities are working to redirect traffic and manage the situation, but travel in this area should be avoided until further notice.
  4. Man Road Bodkewadi Phata Road – This road is closed due to severe water accumulation. The heavy rainfall has made the road impassable, and vehicles are advised to find alternative routes.
  5. Tip Top Hotel Underpass – Traffic is moving at a very slow pace due to water pooling under the bridge. Motorists should be prepared for delays and proceed with caution to avoid potential hazards.

At the impacted places, appropriate arrangements have been made, and traffic is controlled to ensure safety and security. To avoid these severely damaged locations, it is essential to arrange your route properly as the traffic has drastically slowed down.

The situation is being actively watched by the police, who will provide updates as needed. For your own protection, heed the advisories and remain tuned for more updates.
