Pune: FLY91 announces daily Goa-Pune flights This Diwali

Panaji, October 30, 2024: With the Diwali holidays already commenced, FLY91 has announced the start of direct flights to Pune from Goa’s Manohar International Airport.

The daily flights will enhance regional connectivity will benefit tourists, students and techies from Goa. In addition, FLY91 has started daily flights from Pune to Jalgaon.

Pune is a major hub for IT and ITES services, and an education hub. FLY91 expects the flights to facilitate ease of travel for tourists and MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) tourism in Goa. “The commencement of daily flights along the Pune-Goa-Pune and Pune-Jalgaon-Pune routes will improve regional connectivity between Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities across the nation. Better connectivity will usher trade and economic development and prosperity to these underserved regions,” said FLY91’s CEO and MD, Manoj Chacko.

The Pune-Jalgaon route will increase business and student travel along with leisure traffic drawn to the Ajanta and Ellora caves, both Unesco-endorsed world heritage sites in Jalgaon.

In addition to these routes, FLY91 will continue to ply its aircraft on the Pune-Sindhudurg route twice a week. It has made the Manohar International Airport its hub and currently connects Pune, Jalgaon and Sindhudurg, Hyderabad, and Agatti in Lakshadweep.
