Fruit and vegetable prices expected to fall due to fresh arrivals at APMC Pune
Pune, November 10, 2024: Fruit and vegetable prices in Pune are expected to fall as a huge quantity of fruits and vegetables have arrived at the Pune Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee (APMC) today.
A total of 100 truckloads of fruits and vegetables arrived at the committee today from various states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. This increased supply may benefit consumers in the form of lower prices in the coming days.
However, it is observed that the prices of garlic and onion have increased compared to last week, mainly due to the decrease in their arrivals.
