Action to be Taken Against Organizations Not Providing Leave or Concessions for Voting During Maharashtra Assembly Elections – Additional Labor Commissioner
Additional Labour Commissioner Shailendra Pol has announced that appropriate action will be taken against establishments that deprive employees of their right to vote if they are not given leave or exemption for voting in the Assembly general elections. This announcement has been made to solve the problems of employees who may face difficulty in voting due to work.
Pol said that if any employee is not given leave or exemption for voting on the day of voting, they can complain about it. To protect the voting rights of employees, Labour Department officials are ready to resolve these complaints and ensure compliance of labour rules.
