Pune: Important ticket related information for Pune Metro passengers
Pune Metro Rail authorities have shared important information regarding tickets, penalties, discounts and passes available to passengers.
Passengers travelling in Pune Metro are required to strictly follow the ticket rules. Those found travelling without a ticket will be fined ₹85.
Passengers must complete their journey within 90 minutes from the time of ticket purchase to the time they exit the destination station. Exceeding the time limit will attract an additional charge of ₹10 per hour, up to a maximum of ₹50.
Misuse of Automated Fare Collection (AFC) gates, such as making a wrong entry or exit attempt, will also attract a fine of ₹85.
Special Discounts and Benefits:
- Weekdays (Monday to Friday): 10% discount on using e-ticket or One Pune Card.
- Weekends (Saturday and Sunday): 30% discount to all passengers using e-ticket or One Pune Card.
- For Students: Students pursuing graduation level will be given a 30% discount on the base fare. A valid student ID card or bonafide certificate is required to be produced.
