Infosys has announced an 85% performance bonus to its eligible employees for the second quarter of FY 2025 (which ended in September). This bonus will be given to the employees along with the November salary. The amount of individual bonus of the employees may vary depending on their performance and their contribution during the quarter. This bonus will be given especially to mid-level and junior employees, who are a significant part of the company’s 3.15 lakh strong workforce, and it is for those employees who work in the areas of delivery and sales.

Comparison of Infosys’ Bonus with TCS

Infosys’ bonus payout is higher than the previous two quarters. An average bonus of 85% has now been announced, compared to 60% in Q4 FY24 and 80% in Q1 FY25. Also, Infosys has adopted a policy different from other companies such as TCS. While TCS gave bonuses based on employee attendance, Infosys has kept its bonus payments independent of the ‘return to office’ policy. Under the hybrid work model at Infosys, employees are expected to work in the office at least 10 days a month, but the bonus is not dependent on this policy.

Infosys Announces Salary Hikes Starting January 2025

Infosys CEO, Salil Parekh announced that salary hikes will start for employees from January 2025, which will reach all employees by April 2025. This salary hike has been planned after a freeze on salary hikes in FY22 and a delayed appraisal cycle in FY24.

Infosys’ performance bonus of 85% reflects its strong performance culture and the company’s commitment to employees. Moreover, Infosys’ bonus payout is also claimed to be better than TCS. This bonus is a commendable step to recognize the dedication of employees and their contribution.
