In a tragic late-night incident on Monday, December 9, two trainee pilots lost their lives, and two others sustained injuries in a car accident on Baramati-Bhigwan Road near Jainikwadi village in Pune. The accident occurred at approximately 3:15 a.m. when their Tata Harrier SUV overturned, leading to a devastating crash.

Details of the Victims

  • Deceased:
    • Takshu Sharma (21): Resident of Delhi.
    • Aditya Kanse (21): Resident of Mumbai.
      Both succumbed to their injuries at the spot.
  • Injured:
    • Krishna Ishu Singh (21): Resident of Bihar, sustained injuries but survived the crash.
    • Cheshta Bishnoi (21): Resident of Rajasthan, critically injured and unconscious, currently undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.

Incident Overview

According to the Pune rural police, all four victims were trainee pilots at Redbird Flight Training Academy, Baramati. The group reportedly embarked on a late-night drive after consuming alcohol, which has been identified as a major contributing factor to the accident. The vehicle, a Tata Harrier, overturned on the road, causing the fatalities and injuries.
