Pune: India Post Launches Next-Day Delivery Service from Pune to Select Cities
Pune, 20th December 2024: The Indian Department of Posts has introduced a next-day delivery service from Pune to select cities. This service is initially available at five major post offices across Pune and aims to enhance communication efficiency by providing faster and reliable parcel delivery options.
Customers who book Speed Post within specified timings at the participating post offices can have their parcels delivered to major metro cities such as New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Nagpur, and Ahmedabad the next day.
Below are the participating post offices in Pune along with their booking timings for Speed Post:
- Parvati Post Office: 10 AM to 1 PM
- Swargate Post Office: 10 AM to 1:15 PM
- Pune City Post Office (Main): 9 AM to 1:45 PM
- Deccan Gymkhana Post Office: 10 AM to 2:15 PM
- Shivajinagar Post Office: 10 AM to 2:30 PM
Senior Superintendent of Posts, Rippan Dullet, has urged citizens, corporations, and banks to leverage this service to meet their parcel delivery needs more effectively.
