Pune: Air India Express Launches Pune-Bangkok Direct Flight
Pune, 21st December 2024: Thailand, famously known as “The Land of Smiles,” is now just a direct flight away, with Air India Express commencing direct flights from Pune to Bangkok. Following the launch of the Surat-Bangkok route, the inaugural Pune-Bangkok flight was celebrated with a special gesture at Pune Airport, where the airline presented the first guest with a commemorative boarding pass.
Adding to the excitement for Pune-based travelers, Air India Express has announced the introduction of direct flights between Pune and Mangaluru, starting 4th January 2025. These flights will operate twice every Saturday, providing more convenient options for domestic travel.
Pune-Bangkok Flight Schedule (All Timings Local):
- Pune to Bangkok: Departs at 08:40, Arrives at 14:30 (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)
- Bangkok to Pune: Departs at 15:35, Arrives at 18:25 (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)
Pune-Mangaluru Flight Schedule (From 4th January 2025, All Timings Local):
- Pune to Mangaluru:
- Morning: Departs at 09:55, Arrives at 11:40
- Evening: Departs at 20:35, Arrives at 22:05
- Mangaluru to Pune:
- Morning: Departs at 08:00, Arrives at 09:25
- Evening: Departs at 18:30, Arrives at 20:00
Network Expansion Highlights:
- Flights from Amritsar to Bangkok begin 27th December 2024 (four times weekly).
- Flights from Lucknow to Bangkok commence 28th December 2024 (three times weekly).
In addition to flights, Air India Express offers holiday packages through its ‘Xpress Holidays’ platform. Travelers can book curated packages, including accommodation, transport, and activities, directly from the airline’s website under the “Product and Services” section.
From Pune, Air India Express operates over 90 weekly flights to ten domestic destinations, including Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Mangaluru. The airline also offers one-stop connectivity to 20 domestic destinations and 11 international destinations, including Singapore, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi.
