Pune: Hinjewadi IT Park Gets Second Police Station
Pune/Hinjawadi, January 19, 2024: In a decisive step to enhance safety and security in Hinjewadi IT Park, a new police chowki was inaugurated at Wipro Circle, Phase-2, Hinjewadi, on January 17, 2025. This is the second police station to come in the IT Park after the first one located in Phase 1.
The initiative is part of the Pimpri Chinchwad City Police transformation efforts and aims to provide better security for IT companies, local residents, women, and children.
The chowki was inaugurated by Commissioner of Pimpri Chinchwad City Police, Vinoy Kumar Choubey IPS, in the presence of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Zone 2, Vishal Gaikwad, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Wakad Division, Sunil Kurade, and the entire police station team. The project has been supported by Embassy Hi-Tech.
This development is expected to strengthen law enforcement in the area, ensuring a safer environment for the rapidly growing IT hub and its surrounding community.
