Disruption in train services between Pune and Mumbai due to platform work at CSMT
The railway administration has cancelled several trains scheduled to arrive at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminal (CSMT) beginning May 28 in order to facilitate extension work for platforms 10 and 11. Some trains will run till Dadar. Cancelled trains, such as the Pragati Express and the Deccan Express, will inconvenience passengers.
According to information released by the Central Railways, platform expansion work will take a long time, and many trains between Pune and Mumbai will be cancelled.
The cancelled trains include
- Pune-Mumbai-Pune Pragati Express (May 28 to June 2)
- Pune Mumbai Intercity Express (May 31 to June 2)
- Pune-Mumbai-Pune Deccan Express  (1st & 2nd June)
- Pune-Mumbai-Pune Deccan Queen Express (1st & 2nd June)
- Kurla-Margaon-Kurla will be cancelled on June 1 and 2
Meanwhile, service of following trains will be terminated at Dadar
- Sai Nagar Shirdi – Mumbai – Sai Nagar Shirdi Vande Bharat Express
- Bhubaneswar – Mumbai – Bhubaneswar Konark Express
- Hyderabad – Mumbai – Hyderabad Hussain Sagar Express
- Hospet – Mumbai – Hospet Express
- Mumbai – Chennai – Mumbai Chennai Express
These trains will operate till Dadar from 17th May to 27th May, with return journeys also commencing from Dadar.
Travelers are requested to make a note and plan their upcoming travel accordingly on the affected dates.
