Air India Express Expands Network: New Routes from Pune and Surat to Bangkok
Air India Express, the Tata Group’s budget airline, continues its rapid growth by announcing new international flights connecting Bangkok with Surat and Pune starting December 20, 2024.
This marks Bangkok as the 50th destination in the airline’s network.
The expansion aligns with the Tata Group’s strategy of consolidating airlines under the Air India brand, focusing on non-metro connections to global hubs. In addition to international routes, Air India Express is enhancing domestic connectivity by launching services between Dimapur and Guwahati, as well as Patna to Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
MD Aloke Singh highlighted the strategic importance of connecting Tier II and Tier III cities like Pune, Surat, and Dimapur, which are emerging as economic hubs, to key domestic and international destinations. This growth not only supports economic development but also promotes tourism and seamless travel experiences.
Travelers can look forward to enhanced connectivity and exceptional service with Air India Express’s signature Indian hospitality.
