Airports Authority of India offers exciting internship opportunities in civil aviation, check details

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has started an exciting internship program called ‘Pradipti’ allowing students to explore their passion for aviation and witness it first hand. This internship program, launched recently, intends to provide hands-on experience and knowledge about Airport Infrastructure, Operations, and Air Navigation Services.

Official Launch

This internship program was officially launched at a recently held event at the Indian Aviation Academy in New Delhi. AAI Chairman Sanjeev Kumar and distinguished board members of AAI were present during the launch of ‘Pradipti’.

Internship Program Details

  • The internship duration ranges from 4 to 20 weeks depending upon the learning requirements of students.
  • It is structured across three levels, providing a step-by-step comprehensive learning experience. These levels are Familiarization Program for 2-5 days year round, Internships for 4-20 weeks and Project Implementation Team Membership.
  • It is designed to attract students to aviation careers and aims to attracts students from educational institutions located near airports.

AAI Chairman Sanjeev Kumar said the program is designed to ignite interest in the operations of civil aviation among students by letting them witness aviation operations firsthand.

Collaboration With Educational Institutions

AAI has come up with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for collaboration with educational institutions to facilitate AAI internships for their students. Over 120 educational institutions have already signed up the MoU.
