On May 13, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results for Class 12. The overall pass percentage was 87.98 percent. This year, 16,21,224 students took the CBSE Class 12 exams out of a total of 16,33,730 who registered. In total, 14,26,420 students passed the exams.

According to PTI, over 24,000 candidates scored above 95 percent, with over 1.16 lakh scoring above 90 percent.

The pass rate has increased by 0.65% since last year. Girls outperformed boys by more than 6.40 percentage points, with over 91 percent of girls passing the exam.

The results of the CBSE Class 10 board examinations are expected this week. While the board stated that the results would most likely be announced after May 20, an official reportedly stated that they could be announced at any time before the date specified on the CBSE results website.

Several students have expressed concern about the date situation. The examination was held from February 15 to March 13 for Class 10 students, and from February 15 to April 02 for Class 12.

How to Check CBSE Class 10 & 12 Results 2024 On Digilocker

To get both the CBSE Class 10 and CBSE Class 12 Results for 2024 on DigiLocker, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the DigiLocker website or launch the DigiLocker app on your device.
  2. Log in to your existing DigiLocker account, or create a new account if you haven’t already.
  3. Once logged in, go to the homepage.
  4. Navigate to the category tab or search for “CBSE Class 10 Results 2024” or “CBSE Class 12 Results 2024.”
  5. Click on the relevant link.
  6. Fill out the required information in the fields on the new window that appears.
  7. Click the “Submit” button to continue.
  8. Your CBSE Class 10 or Class 12 Result for 2024 will appear on your screen, ready to view and download.

How to Check CBSE Class 10 Results 2024 via SMS

To receive CBSE Class 10 results via SMS, students should send a text message with the format “CBSE10” to the designated number 7738299899. Shortly after, they will receive a text message with all of the necessary information about their results. It’s important to note that SMS charges can vary depending on your mobile network provider.

How to Check the CBSE 12th result 2024 via SMS

Students can also check their CBSE Class 12 Result 2024 using the SMS facility. They must send the following SMS to 7738299899: “CBSE12 (roll number) (date of birth in DDMMYYYY format) (school number) (Centre number)”. After sending the SMS, students will receive an SMS with a subject-by-subject list of their marks. Students should obtain their CBSE Class 12 Result 2024 for immediate reference.

CBSE RESULT 2024:VERIFICATION PROCESS

Students who are dissatisfied with their CBSE 12th exam 2024 results can request a verification of the marks/answer sheet. The Board will announce the application deadline for this service. Students must complete the application form for mark verification online at the official website. The board then re-evaluates the answer sheets to ensure there are no totaling errors, missing marks, or unanswered questions. Following the re-evaluation, the CBSE 12th result 2024 is distributed to the students, who may also request a photocopy of the re-evaluated result.

How to Check CBSE Board Results 2024 Via IVRS

To check the CBSE Class 12 Result 2024 via IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System), students should dial 24300699, followed by the area code. Each call for a single roll number will be charged 30 paisa per minute.

Passing Criteria for CBSE Board Results 2024

To pass the CBSE board exams, students must fulfill the following requirements:
Achieve a grade higher than ‘E’ (at least 33% marks) on all five external exam subjects in the main.
For practical subjects, achieve a minimum of 33% in both theoretical and practical components. Students must also achieve an overall grade point average of at least 33%. Students who achieve a grade higher than ‘E’ in all internal assessment subjects (unless exempted) will receive a pass certificate.
