Mumbai, August 24, 2024: Indian Meteorological Department has sounded a red alert for a few districts in Maharashtra for tomorrow for heavy to extremely heavy rain.

1. Districts on red alert on August 25, 2024

Warning – Heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places with extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places in the districts of Raigad, Pune and Satara.

Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Pune and Satara were on red alert today, i.e. August 24th.

2. Districts on orange alert on August 25, 2024

Warning – Heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places in most districts of Konkan and Marathwada.

3. Districts on yellow alert on August 25, 2024

Warning – Heavy rainfall at isolated places in most of the districts of Vidarbha.

Rest of the places in Maharashtra will witness light to moderate rain with no severe weather alerts. Citizens are requested to take note of the weather alerts from IMD to stay updated and stay safe.
