The Maharashtra government has officially announced the much-awaited list of newly appointed Guardian Ministers for districts across the state. This announcement follows over a month of anticipation since the Maha Yuti government’s cabinet expansion and portfolio allocation.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar will continue as the Guardian Minister for Pune while also taking charge of Beed. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has been assigned the Guardian Ministership of Gadchiroli district. Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will oversee Mumbai City and Thane.
