Maharashtra Weather: State begins to witness cool weather; Pune, Nashik temperatures to dip below 16°C
With winter approaching, residents of Pune and Nashik are enjoying cooler weather, while Mumbai continues to maintain a warmer, humid environment.
The winter chill is beginning to settle across Maharashtra, with colder temperatures being witnessed in cities like Nashik, Pune, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts a continued drop in temperatures, creating a “pink winter” feel for residents. Clear skies and no rain are expected across the state today, November 11.

In Mumbai however, the maximum temperature is forecasted to reach 35°C, with a minimum of 22°C, signalling a warmer climate. However, Pune’s temperatures are progressing downward, with a high of 30°C and a low of around 15°C, bringing cooler mornings and evenings for residents to enjoy.
In the last 24 hours, minimum temperature in Maharashtra was recorded in Nashik at 14.2°C and maximum at 35.1°C in Ratnagiri.
In Nashik, skies are mostly clear, with temperatures hovering around 31°C during the day and dropping to 14°C at night. In Marathwada, including Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, will experience a maximum of 30°C and a minimum as low as 14°C, adding a noticeable chill to the air. Vidarbha, too, will experience dry weather, with Nagpur seeing a maximum of 32°C and a minimum of 19°C.
The IMD suggests that temperatures could dip even further in the coming days, and residents across Nashik, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and Pune may want to pull out their winterwear as colder weather sets in.
