Maharashtra Weather: State to experience dry weather conditions from October 14 as the weather system moves away
Pune, October 12, 2024: Sunny days are ahead for Maharashtra. Anupam Kashyapi former head of the Weather Forecasting Division at IMD Pune said that the weather across Maharashtra is expected to improve starting October 14, with major changes expected along the state’s coast.
There is a well-marked low (WML) lying in the Arabian Sea off Maharashtra’s coast currently. It is expected to slightly intensify as it moves west-northward and gradually pull away from the coast.
This system is anticipated to drop moisture levels throughout Maharashtra in the following 48 hours. After moisture depletion, dry weather will ease up the recent wet spell.
