Kalki 2898 AD (Prime Video and Netflix)

Following its massive box office success, the sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD is set to make its debut on OTT platforms. Directed by Nag Ashwin, this star-studded spectacle features Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. Set in a post-apocalyptic world devastated by darkness and the near-extinction of nature, the film follows a bounty hunter named Bhairava (Prabhas) on a journey through the dystopian future of 2898 AD. His path crosses with Sumathi (Deepika Padukone), a refugee pregnant with Kalki, believed to be Lord Vishnu’s 10th and final reincarnation and humanity’s last hope. The film also revolves around a mysterious experiment called Project K, where selected men and women are tasked with saving the unborn child Kalki, who is central to Project K’s success.

This blockbuster hit will be available on both Amazon Prime and Netflix starting August 22.

Follow Kar Lo Yaar (Prime Video)

Follow Kar Lo Yaar offers an unfiltered look into the life of controversial social media influencer Uorfi Javed. This unscripted reality series follows Uorfi through her daily life, capturing her interactions with the paparazzi, her unfiltered thoughts, and the challenges she faces in the public eye. With nine episodes, the show provides an intimate glimpse into the life of the actress known for her bold fashion choices and outspoken personality.

Follow Kar Lo Yaar will be streaming on Prime Video starting August 23.

Raayan (Prime Video)

Raayan, actor Dhanush’s 50th film, is a crime thriller he both directed and starred in. The film follows a seemingly ordinary man, Kathavaraayan “Raayan,” who becomes entangled in a dangerous world of gangsters and manipulation. As he rises through the ranks, Raayan faces off against powerful adversaries played by SJ Suryah and Prakash Raj.

After a successful theatrical run, Raayan will be available to stream on Prime Video starting August 23.

Pachinko 2 (Apple TV+)

Pachinko season 2, starring Lee Min Ho, returns with a continuation of the epic saga of a Korean immigrant family. Expanding upon the narrative introduced in the first season, this season delves deeper into the life of Sunja during the tumultuous period of World War II in Osaka, 1945. As she faces perilous decisions to protect her family amidst the chaos of war, Sunja’s story unfolds across new periods and geographies.

Based on the acclaimed 2017 novel by Min Jin Lee, Pachinko season 2 starts streaming on Apple TV+ on August 23.

That ’90s Show Part 3 (Netflix)

That ’90s Show is back for a third season, taking viewers on a nostalgic journey back to Point Place in 1996. Leia Forman returns for another summer with her grandparents, Red and Kitty, who find their home in chaos after a surprising visit from Jay and Silent Bob.

The new season starts streaming on Netflix on August 22.
