The Jagadguru Shri Sant Tukaram Maharaj Sansthan’s Palkhi procession will take place from June 28 to July 16, 2024. The procession will depart from Dehu on the afternoon of June 28 and will reach Pandharpur on July 16. Let’s take a look at the detailed schedule of the procession:

  • June 28: The procession will start from Dehu on Friday, June 28, with the first halt at Inamdar Wada.
  • June 29: The Palkhi will stop at Shri Vitthal Temple in Akurdi for the second halt.
  • June 30 and July 1: The Palkhi will stay at Shri Nivdunga Vitthal Temple in Nana Peth, Pune.
  • July 2: The Palkhi will depart from Pune towards Loni Kalbhor and stay at the new Palkhi halt.
  • July 3: The Palkhi will stay at Bhairavnath Temple in Yavat.
  • July 4: The Palkhi will stay at Vitthal Temple in Varvand.
  • July 5: The Palkhi will halt at Undwadi Gawli.
  • July 6: The Palkhi will stay at Sharada Vidyalaya premises in Baramati.
  • July 7: The Palkhi will halt at Sansar.
  • July 8: The first ringan will take place in Belvadi, and the Palkhi will stay overnight in Anthurne.
  • July 9: The Palkhi will stay at Nimgaon Ketki.
  • July 10: The second circular ringan will take place in Indapur.
  • July 12: In the morning, the Maharaj’s Padukas will be given a Neera bath in Sarati, and the Palkhi will proceed to Akluj, completing the third circular ringan in the afternoon.
  • July 13: The first standing ringan will take place in Malinagar, followed by a halt in Borgav.
  • July 14: The race will take place in the evening at Tondale Bondale, and the Palkhi will proceed to Pirachi Kuroli for the night halt.
  • July 15: The second standing ringan will take place in the evening at Bajirao Vihir.
  • July 16: In the morning, the Palkhi will depart from Bakhri towards Pandharpur. In the evening, the final and third standing ringan will take place at the Paduka Aarti site. The Palkhi will then enter Shri Kshetra Pandharpur city and rest overnight in the new building of Shri Sant Tukaram Maharaj Temple.
  • July 21: The return journey to Dehu will commence.
