Pune: Bus caught fire near Pirangut Ghat, no one injured
Pune, May 06, 2024: A bus that was traveling on the Pirangut Ghat with seven passengers suddenly caught fire near Gypsy hotel at around 8.30 pm on May 05.
The private bus carrying seven persons from a wedding party was traveling from Pirangut to Pune when suddenly at around 8.30 pm, it caught fire near Mhasoba temple. Everyone traveling in the bus safely got down.

Immediately, Kothrud fire department was informed who reached the spot and put out the fire. The bus was severely damaged in the fire. The fire was probably caused by an electric short circuit in the bus.
The passengers were transported to their destination in an another vehicle. Further investigations are on to find out the exact cause of the fire.
