Pune: City Records Coldest December Morning Since 2018
Pune experienced its coldest December morning since 2018, with temperatures dropping significantly over the past two days. On Sunday (December 17), Shivajinagar recorded a low of 7.8°C, marking the lowest temperature of the season so far.
The National Defence Academy (NDA) area saw an even colder 6.1°C on Sunday, while on Monday (December 17), Shivajinagar recorded 8°C, Pashan registered 8.3°C, and NDA recorded 6.5°C.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Pune’s minimum temperatures are expected to rise starting December 18, offering some respite from the chill.
