Pune: Fatal Porsche accident in Kalyani Nagar claims two lives, minor son of reputed builder behind the wheel
A luxury car being driven at high speed rams into multiple vehicles claiming the lives of two in Pune.
A tragic accident occurred in Kalyani Nagar, Pune when the minor son of a well-known builder caused a fatal accident at approximately 3:00 AM on Saturday while driving a luxury car at high speed.
The minor boy was driving his Porsche at high speed, when he lost control and crashed into multiple vehicles, including a motorcycle. The crash resulted in the immediate deaths of Anis Avlia and Ashwini Kosta, who were riding the motorcycle.
The accident took place near Bowler Pub, shortly after the boy had left a nearby pub. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Vijayakumar Magar, the boy is a minor and has been detained for medical examination to determine if he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. An FIR has been registered at Yerawada Police Station following a complaint by Ekib Ramzan Mulla, a friend of the deceased.

The bystanders stopped and beat up the minor driver after the accident before handing him over to the police. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
Ignoring the guidelines issued by Pune City Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar, which mandate the closure of bars, pubs, restaurants, and rooftop hotels by 1 AM, many establishments continue to operate late into the night. The accident highlights ongoing concerns about late-night operations of bars and pubs in Pune.
