Pune: Fruit and vegetable prices likely to reduce due to bulk arrivals at Gultekdi Market

Pune, May 05, 2024: Fruit and vegetable prices have been skyrocketing as the supply was reduced due to scorching heat. However all this is now going to change.

As many as ninety trucks, containing fruits and vegetables, have arrived at Shree Chhatrapati Shivaji Market Yard, Gultekdi from neighboring states aimed at bridging the gap between demand and supply of these essential commodities, as reported by All India Radio, Pune.

These trucks arrived today from Karnataka, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. This consignment hopes to reduce the prices of fresh fruits and vegetables and bring relief to the residents of Pune.

In the meantime, as the weather eases, local supply will also pickup to keep the markets stocked well for customers.
