The Central Railway has flagged off the Vande Bharat Express trains connecting Pune to Kolhapur and Hubballi, along with the Nagpur-Secunderabad route. With these new additions, Maharashtra now boasts a total of eight Vande Bharat trains, enhancing connectivity and comfort for passengers.
Kolhapur-Pune Vande Bharat Express:
- Tri-weekly Service: Operates every Thursday, Saturday, and Monday.
- Departure from Kolhapur: 8:15 AM (Train No. 20673) reaching Pune at 1:30 PM on the same day.
- Departure from Pune: 2:15 PM (Train No. 20674) reaching Kolhapur at 7:40 PM on the same day.
- Inauguration: Flagged off by Hon’ble PM via video conference from the Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus station, Kolhapur.
- Halts: Miraj, Sangli, Kirloskarwadi, Karad, and Satara.
- Composition: 8 Vande Bharat coaches.
