An FIR has been lodged at the Hinjawadi Police Station against Vishal Agarwal and several others for allegedly cheating 72 flat buyers in Bavdhan. The complaint, filed by Vishal Arun Adsul of Nancy Bramha Residency Co-operative Society, alleges fraudulent practices by the developers of Nancy Bramha Associates.

According to the FIR, since 2007, the complainant and 71 other flat holders had paid the full amount to acquire flats and other amenities in the project being developed by Nancy Bramha Associates at Bavdhan. The developers had promised to provide parking, amenity space, and open space as part of the project. However, discrepancies have arisen regarding the conveyance deed and the allocation of these spaces.

The complaint details that Nancy Bramha Associates created three separate societies within the project, with the common location for amenity and open space. The developers, in connivance with others, modified and approved the project maps without the society members’ consent. This led to the construction of two additional buildings, Vantage Tower and Vantage High, on the land owned by Nancy Bramha Residency Co-operative Society. Vantage Tower is an 11-storey building with 66 commercial offices and 27 flats, while Vantage High is a 10-storey building comprising 18 shops.

As a result, the 72 flat holders of Nancy Bramha Co-operative Housing Society in Bavdhan have been deceived and cheated. The FIR names Vishal Surendrakumar Agarwal, Ram Kumar Agarwal, Vinod Kumar Agarwal, Nandlal Kimtani, Ashish Kimtani and others as the accused.

Somnath Panchal, API Hinjawadi Police Station, is currently investigating the case.
