Pune: MLA takes up issue of frequent power outages in Shivajinagar with MSEDCL

Siddharth Shirole, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Shivajinagar Constituency, Pune, has taken significant steps to address the problem of frequent power outages in and around Shivajinagar.

In response to problems faced by residents due to sudden power failures, Shirole convened a meeting with MSEDCL Executive Engineer, Mr. Rathod, to identify the causes of these outages and work on them to improve the reliability of electricity supply. He also asked them to engage in more effective communication with citizens.

Shirole has urged the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) to improve their communication with consumers. He urged them to regularly and proactively inform citizens about scheduled power cuts through SMS or social media to help residents prepare for such disruptions and minimize inconvenience.

In addition to this, a helpline number will soon be launched to assist citizens in reaching MSEDCL officials more effectively. This initiative will provide a direct line of communication for residents to address their concerns and get timely updates on power supply issues.
