Pune: PCMC areas to witness water supply disruption on May 30
PCMC has announced disruption in water supply on May 30.
May 29, 2024 – The Water Supply Department of PCMC has announced that there will be a temporary disruption in the water supply to Pimpri Chinchwad city on Thursday, May 30, 2024.
According to the department, the morning water supply will be provided as per the regular schedule. However, citizens are requested to note that the evening water supply will be temporarily suspended. This interruption is due to essential maintenance and repair work that will be carried out at the Nigdi water purification center and various locations in the city’s distribution system.
Additionally, citizens are advised to take note that on Friday, May 31, 2024, the morning water supply may be erratic and experience low pressure due to the ongoing maintenance work.
In order to minimize inconvenience during this period, the Water Supply Department requests the cooperation of all residents. Citizens are advised to store enough water from the municipality in advance and use it sparingly during the temporary disruption in water supply.
