PMC demolished unauthorized rooftop restaurants in Baner.
On May 25, 2024, the Building Development Department Zone 3, of Pune Municipal Corporation, with the assistance of police officers, took decisive action against rooftop hotels, sheds, and unauthorized constructions in Baner.
In this operation, approximately 11,925 square feet of illegal constructions were cleared.
The operation was overseen by the officials of Zone 3 of Building Development Department of Pune Municipal Corporation.
The team consisted of the above officials of PMC, as well as six police personnel who used one JCB, two gas cutters, one breaker, and ten encroachment staff.
In addition, complaints have been filed against nine rooftop hotels in Baner, with two more on the way.
