Pune: Newly elected Member of Parliament from Pune, Murlidhar Mohol, has been appointed as the Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Cooperation. Looking ahead, Mohol plans to coordinate with local authorities and the central government to expedite the construction of the Purandar airport and pursue the Pune-Navi Mumbai direct train service. Regarding recent incidents, such as the tragic accident in Kalyaninagar involving two youths, Mohol acknowledged the anger and assured that the state government took swift action. He mentioned that Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis personally oversaw the case, ensuring that those responsible faced legal consequences.
