Pune Road Rage: Woman with kids assaulted in broad daylight on Baner-Pashan link road

A shocking incident of aggression and road rage has come to light where a woman riding a two-wheeler with her two kids was assaulted and punched in broad daylight by a motorist on the Baner-Pashan Link Road.

Jeryln Dsilva, a digital content creator from Pune, was violently assaulted today in a shameful incident of road rage while driving on the Baner-Pashan Link Road. The attack occurred after a motorist attempted to overtake her vehicle. In an effort to allow the motorist to pass, Jeryln moved to the side of the road, but the driver stopped his vehicle, confronted her, and struck her in the face, causing severe bleeding. Her two kids were riding with her at the time of this incident.

Jeryln reported that the motorist, described as an elderly man, was speeding recklessly and endangering other road users. At the time of the incident, Jeryln was riding her bike with two young children. She documented her harrowing experience in an Instagram video, expressing her concern over the safety of women and bikers in Pune given such aggressive behavior by fellow motorists. The man also pulled her by hair besides punching her in the face.

Jeryln is currently receiving medical treatment at a private hospital in Baner.
