Swift Hybrid 4th generation unveiled by Suzuki
The brand-new Swift Hybrid, Suzuki Motor Corporation’s fourth generation global model, has been showcased. Originally unveiled as the Swift Concept at the October 2023 Japan Mobility show in Tokyo, the car is scheduled to be on sale in the UK and the Republic of Ireland in April 2024.
With a sleek body and a short length of 3,860 mm, the Swift provides excellent visibility, a roomy cabin, and plenty of room for luggage. According to the firm, Suzuki set out to create a hatchback that combined cutting-edge technology with the spirit of the brand.
Specification highlights:Â Enormous standard features are available for both the Motion and Ultra grades of the Swift Hybrid. The features that set this vehicle apart include 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, navigation, rear-view camera, rear parking sensors, Adaptive Cruise Control, wireless smartphone link display audio, keyless entry and start, Driver Monitoring System, upgraded Dual Sensor Brake Support, Blind Spot Monitor, enhanced Traffic Sign Recognition, and Lane Departure Warning and Weaving Alert.
The Ultra grade has electronic folding door mirrors with integrated side turn indicators, automatic air conditioning, a rear passenger heating outlet, and 16-inch polished alloy wheels.
The Swift is available in eight metallic colors, and its optional dual-tone variations with a Grey metallic roof or a Black Pearl metallic roof radiate refinement. Especially noteworthy is the careful attention to detail that went into creating the vivid Frontier Blue Pearl Metallic and Burning Red Pearl Metallic hues.
Both the exterior and interior design of the Swift exude a futuristic style, with piano-black front grille and blacked-out pillars that give the impression of a floating roof. A dual-tone interior with center controls slanted in the direction of the driver creates an opulent driving environment. The atmosphere is made more opulent by the large nine-inch infotainment screen.
Performance and efficiency:Â The Swift Hybrid, with its brand-new three-cylinder petrol engine, promises better fuel efficiency and reduced CO2 emissions. With the launch of Suzuki’s self-charging hybrid technology, fuel efficiency is significantly increased, guaranteeing environmentally friendly performance without sacrificing power.
Safety and connectivity: With technologies like the enhanced Dual Sensor Brake Support system, Driver Monitoring System, and Lane Departure Warning, the Swift Hybrid places a high priority on safety. Additionally, Suzuki Connect, which offers capabilities like remote lock/unlock and vehicle status monitoring via a smartphone app, enables consumers to maintain real-time connectivity with their cars.
