Zomato Driver Completes 8 Deliveries on Diwali and Earns ₹300; Leaves Internet Emotional
On the night of Diwali, when the whole country was celebrating with their families, Zomato delivery partner Hrithik Tomar was busy delivering orders. A video showing his hard work has touched hearts on the internet.
Tomar, who lives in Meerut, is a part-time Zomato driver. He shared his Diwali night on Instagram through a video, which has now gone viral and has received more than 1.7 million views. Hrithik’s Diwali started with his first order at 5 pm, which gave him a chance to earn ₹ 40. After this, as the night progressed, he delivered a total of 8 orders one after the other and shared every moment of his earnings and journey on Instagram.

By 11 pm, when his day ended, he earned a total of ₹ 310, from which petrol and other expenses were yet to be taken care of. Many people praised Tomar’s hard work through comments on this video. “Kam se kam aaj ke din toh chutti le lete (You could have taken a holiday at least today),” one person said in the comments section, to which Tomar replied saying “nahi le sakta, majburi hai (I can’t. I’m working because of my need).”
Another user said that Zomato offered an incentive of ₹25 per order on Diwali, but Tomar said that he did not get this incentive. Yet another user wrote, “This is why I keep using Zomato Blinkit occasionally,” while another user prayed for his success.
